Pastor Jake and Miranda make a dynamic ministry team.  Prior to their arrival in Allentown, they served the Highland First Church of the Nazarene in Highland, IN.  Before pastoring at Highland, they served for four years as professors at Ohio Christian University.  While at OCU, Pastor Jake traveled extensively preaching church revivals, youth camps, and camp meetings.  In addition, Pastor Jake and Miranda served in a volunteer capacity at Praise Church with Jake serving as associate teaching pastor and Miranda as Worship leader.

Pastor Jake is an ordained elder and is a graduate of both Asbury College and Wesley Biblical Seminary.  He has also completed doctoral studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Ill.  Pastor Jake is an avid sports fan (primarily Philly sports) and enjoys playing sports, reading, carpentry and spending time outside with his family.  Pastor Jake and Miranda are in their mid thirties and have three beautiful children: Matthew (9 years old), Hannah (8), Joshua (3) and Elijah (infant).

Associate Pastor of Youth and Community Life

Pastor Mark and his wife Christina (Christie) have served the Lord in Belmont, Wisconsin and in Warminster, Pa.  While in Wisconsin, Mark pastored the Pleasant View Methodist church for five years.  During his time in Wisconsin, Mark also taught at many youth camps and spoke at Men’s Conferences doing fathering seminars.  Feeling called to make a difference in the lives of children, Mark and Christie left Wisconsin to involve themselves with Christ’s Home for Children in Warminster.  In their time with this organization, they fostered 27 different children.  Since 2008, both Mark and Christie have earned more than 100 Continuing Education Credits in the area of children and youth development, family dynamics, conflict-resolution within the family, discipleship in the home, effective discipline, parenting teenagers, dealing with different personalities, etc.

A native of southeastern Pennsylvania, Pastor Mark is an ordained elder.  Graduating from West Chester University with a degree in Political Science, he went on to earn a Masters’ degree in Christian Education from Wesley Biblical Seminary.  He is further trained and certified through the National Center for Fathering as a seminar leader.  Pastor Mark is involved with the Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of Iron Sharpens Iron/United Men of Faith men’s conferences as well as the Lehigh Valley chapters of Push the Rock and Athletes for Christ.  He and his wife have one son, Kyle (13).

Administrative Assistant Mary and Allen R. Cerullo

Mary and Allen have enjoyed over 30 years of marriage.  God has blessed them with two sons, Allen Jr. and Andrew, and two beautiful granddaughters, London Claire and Mikayla Edith.  Mary is the Administrative Assistant here at Trinity and enjoys her job thoroughly; serving her Lord through serving the church in this clerical position.  She has also served the same position in the Penn-Jersey District Office in prior years.  Mary graduated from United Wesleyan College (1981) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Christian Education.

Allen has been employed with PPL for over 30 years. His passion and favorite past-time activity is volleyball.  He continues to coach girls volleyball and still loves to play the game.  Allen has political aspirations as well.

Mary’s life verse is Isaiah 40:31 “…but those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.” This promise of the Lord always being there to uphold us and to cause us to soar is a very real source of encouragement through the toughest of times and an expression of security and contentment in the good times.
